About Code Pack

From Café Chaos to “Your Pack, Your Rules.”

It always started the same way: a quick family outing that somehow turned into a full-scale expedition.

A simple café lunch? Suddenly we were loading crayons, half a Lego set, a forgotten water bottle, emergency snacks, and that one mystery toy the kids had to bring. By the time we zipped the last pocket, the bag weighed more than the child we were packing for.

Every trip felt like a NASA mission—except NASA probably had a better checklist.

Road trips, flights, even a dinner at the grandparents’ house meant a late-night scavenger hunt through five different stores or websites to find activities. A coloring pad here, a card game there, shipping delays everywhere. We’d finally get out the door only to discover we’d forgotten the Uno deck or packed so much it looked like we were moving house.

That’s when it clicked: this wasn’t just our family’s chaos. This was a universal parent problem hiding in plain sight.

We didn’t need more toys. We needed a system—one smart, screen-free travel kit that was compact, refillable, and ready to grab the moment someone yelled “let’s go!”

So we made it.

Our first Code Packs were tidy little bundles of activities that actually fit in a normal bag,  and slide into any tote and save parental sanity. Fewer meltdowns, more cappuccinos while still hot. Victory!

But here’s the twist.

While we were patting ourselves on the back, the kids staged a quiet coup. They didn’t just want the activities—we noticed they wanted to own the whole experience. They were already slinging their own bum bags stuffed with random treasures. Who knows why they need spare jibbitz, or that half eaten oatmeal cookie, or that random crayon. Why not give them a bag built for real adventures and let them be the boss?

That’s how the Sidekick Sling was born: a lightweight cross-body kids can personalize with swappable straps, patches, and, of course, their own Code Packs. Suddenly our little travel hack turned into a movement—kids carrying their own fun, parents reclaiming a bit of sanity, everyone getting out the door faster.

Today, Code Pack is more than an activity kit. It’s freedom in a compact bundle—
for parents who crave calm, and for kids who crave control.

Because every adventure is better when everyone gets to say:

“It’s my pack. My rules.”
